The Artists

The Artists.

Compassion Is My Fashion has been created with designs donated by local Brisbane and Australian artists.  We would like to sincerely thank each Artist for their donation and support.  You are an awesome cheering squad for children in our community!

Rainbow Mousling was donated by Katrin Dreiling of Katrin Dreiling Illustrations.  Katrin is Germany born and raised but moved to Australia with her husband and three children.  She is self-taught and creates quirky illustrations that feature different media, texture and techniques that children are familiar with and speak to them. Katrin’s first picture book has been awarded “Notable Book 2018” by the Children’s Book Council of Australia, short-listed for the 2018 Speech Pathology Australia Award.  Katrin teaches art to children and bribes them with lollies to clean up afterwards, she also conducts workshops for both adults and children.  Children are a big part of Katrin’s life and she loved the idea of helping Compassion Is My Fashion with a design and hopes it makes your day brighter.   www.katrinadreiling.com

Hope was donated by Samar Kabir a local Brisbane Illustrator.  Samar is a children`s book illustrator and always tries to create a colourful world for them. Whenever she sees their happy faces watching her illustrations she become cheerful! Samar hopes all the children have an opportunity for happiness, peace, health and of course experience a colourful world.  These are the main reasons that she chose to be a part of this project. www.rawartists.org/samarillu
